We had heard about this beautiful leopard earlier in the day, and a kill it had with it up in the tree. But there was a problem because the tree and the leopard were "off road" and in this particular park, off-roading was not allowed. So we passed by this leopard from about 500 yards several times, when magically, our safari vehicle appeared just 30 or so yards form the tree. As soon as we noticed this, we shot away. The great thing was we arrived at just the perfect light, and the leopard was having a good ole time just enjoying the sunset with us. Then after just two or three minutes, the miracle reversed itself and we once again found ourselves back on the road, about 500 yards.
